Episode 131 – Beethoven’s ‘Orgy’ Symphony

It’s that time folks! Time for a Day with Price, your friendly fortnightly CRASSical music podcast, to enter your ear tubes and froth them all up with classical music lurve.
In this episode the pair talk about fireworks and their effects on dogs’ butts, horse-racing, shouting at kids and Emma’s relentless snot.
Emma deals with her home sickness (not really, she is enjoying the sunshine too much) by recommending one of the most European pieces going – Beethoven’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony. Bring on those luscious green rolling hills everyone, and prepare to giggle. This one is pretty silly.

Episde 130 – The Bigger the Boob, the Higher the Risk

Back again, this time it’s for real.
Emma and Brooke, separated by oceans and hemispheres, manage to continue to put out their silly podcast. We hope you guys are ok with the biweekly format. it’s making life easier for these two numbskulls anyway.
This week Emma brags about her jet-setting lifestyle. Brooke asks questions he’s been curious about playing music while naked. All standard stuff.
Brooke recommends Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet. Its good. It’s minor. What more can you ask for?

This week, the pair talk across hemispheres whilst Emma spends some time in Australia. It’s amazing they actually managed this given their technological ineptitude to date!
Anyway, on this episode, Brooke discusses the challenges of string teaching, Emma moans about the cold and wet weather on the opposite side of the globe, and then recommends BARTOK’S DIVERTIMENTO FOR STRING ORCHESTRA, a piece she heard at a concert given by the Australian Chamber Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House on 7th October (https://www.aco.com.au/whats_on/event_detail/ilya-gringolts-plays-paganini-2018) … an early birthday present from Corey, legend! <3

Episode 124 – Circumnavigate the website

Hey gang! sorry this week’s episode is a day late. The honest truth is that Brooke’s kids don’t like him to have any identity of his own so projects like the podcast really make them angry.

This week we talk about how the presence of a third grown up would really help the Day house. Emma gets a “massage” with who knows how happy of an ending.

Brooke REcommends Schubert’s Unfinished symphony. Its a nice piece and we don’t care if you like it or not. But enjoy the Episode.
