Bonus Episode – Bloopers

Dudes, we have been talking for ONE HUNDRED EPISODES now! What the…. that’s nearly 2 years worth of chats. So we have compiled some of the best unheard nonsense for your pleasure… there’s no introductory chat, no recommendation, this is just a collection of silliness from the past 100 episodes. Be warned: there are references to bodily functions, dodgy accents, even worse singing, but surprisingly no swearing, so feel free to play to your kids. Here’s to another hundred! Cheers! Emma and Brooke xx

Episode 100 – The Centurian

We have conquered the triple digit! Welcome to the hundredth Episode of A DAY WITH PRICE. We would lie to thank you all for being supportive and for tuning in whenever you can! We couldn’t/wouldn’t do it without you lovely people downloading and writing in. You rock.

In this episode we take some time to look back at all the garbage we have already produced. Also we look forward to the mountains of non recyclable garbage we will be producing for your ear disposal units in the future.

Brooke recommends a piece that is reflected upon itself, Der Spiegel Duo, often attributed to Mozart, but it’s not really by him.

As always get in touch, let us know a piece you want to hear us talk about, or just how we should change this dumb show now that we are 100 weeks old.

Episode 99 – I got 99 problems, and they’re ALL podcasts

Welcome to another episode of the CRASSical (Crass & Classical!) music podcast “a Day with Price” hosted by Brooke Day and Emma Price. On this week’s episode, Brooke has issues with his rotator cuffs (injured AGAIN, I know right?)…not ideal when he is preparing for his London debut concert with chamber ensemble String Dimensions (check em OOT!) Emma is emotionally still on the beach, and not traipsing through the cold, fast-paced streets of Lahndahn Tahhhhn. She went to see the musical PARADE, which portrays the heart-wrenching, true story of Leo Frank: a Brooklyn-raised Jewish man living in Atlanta who was wrongfully convicted of the rape and murder of his thirteen-year-old employee, Mary Phagan, in 1913. Brooke takes none of it seriously.
The pair also talk curling, and as usual there are dodgy accents.
Emma recommends Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess courtesy of a listener request (get yours in now, we promise we will recommend your favourite piece of music!)

Hope you like this week’s episode! If you do…why not rate and review on iTunes?! …YOU WILL WIN A BADGE WITH OUR FACES ON if you do this and send us a screenshot xxx

Episode 98 – She Who Watches Foxes

Well well well here we are again. Our weekly podcast gets one week older. This week Emma complains about being jet lagged, but obviously it’s not so bad cuz she stayed up late to watch foxes doing it. Brooke is full of self promotion. Everyone wants to escape the big city, but secretly that’s not true.

Brooke recommends a piece by Liszt this week: Hungarian Rhapsody number 2. You’ll recognize it and you’ll love the episode. OR ELSE!

PLease get in touch! Our 100th ep is just around the corner and we want to hear from you!

Episode 97 – The Afternoon of a Phone

Welcome to another episode of the CRASSical (Crass & Classical!) music podcast “a Day with Price” hosted by Brooke Day and Emma Price. On this week’s episode, the pair catch up properly after Emma’s month’s convalescence in Australia, and sound like real adults (if that’s ever possible) and decide smoking and drinking aren’t what they’re cracked up to be anymore.
Emma describes her survival without her suitcase down under, and Brooke talks cars and babies. It’s then Emma’s turn to recommend a piece of Classical music and goes for Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun. Slushtastic!
**DISCLAIMER: EMMA IS STILL JETLAGGED AND SOMETIMES APPEARS TO HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP MID-SENTENCE….apologies*******
